BRAZIL

Through a partnership with Stadia and Compassion International, South Bay Church has helped to launch a new church in the north of Brazil, along with starting a Compassion Project for kids in Sítios Novos. This is an underdeveloped region with few growth opportunities. Many of these children are exposed to various risk factors, such as: abuse, drug addiction, sexual violence, little access to quality food and a lack of education.

South Bay Church has gotten involved. Now hundreds of these impoverished children have been sponsored, and their lives are being changed. In addition to financial support and child sponsorship, we send a team to Brazil to serve this community and the children that live near this new church plant.

Upcoming dates: Summer 2017

Activities Include:       • Visiting Compassion Project Facilities      • Engaging with Sponsored Children      • Supporting the Local Church      • Evangelism      • Building Relationships

In addition, their work with coffee farmers has enabled them to share the love and message of Jesus in many villages. We are excited to send our first team to support their work in the summer of 2017!

MEXICO

For many years, South Bay Church has served the people of Mexico, where less than 10% of the population are evangelical Christians and 53% live on less than $2 a day.

Our primary partnership is with La Esparanza Rehabiliation Center in Baja California, Mexico. We empower them to provide emotional, physical, and spiritual healing to those in need. We also help local churches reach their villages by supporting outreach events where thousands get to hear the message of Jesus. In addition to financial and prayer support, we send multiple teams each year to support the work of our partners, build homes for families in need, and engage the villages with the love and message of Jesus.
